Charming holiday home by the forest and sea

The Schildershuis is the former studio of the famous BergenDesigned by painter David Kouwenaar, it has been carefully transformed into a comfortable and charming holiday home for four people. Thanks to the high windows, the house is wonderfully bright and feels spacious and open.

The house has two comfortable bedrooms, both furnished with a comfortable double box-spring bed. The cozy living room features a spacious seating area with a sofa and armchair, a dining table, and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. Here you can relax with a good book, watch TV, or enjoy the warmth and ambiance of the gas fireplace.

Outside you will find a spacious, peaceful garden with a table and chairs – a lovely place to have breakfast, drinks or simply enjoy nature.

From Het Schildershuis you can walk straight into the Bergerbos for a lovely forest walk. The pleasant center of Bergen is just a few minutes by bike and within 15 minutes you are on the beach of the popular Bergen aan Zee.

The manager will contact you prior to your stay to arrange your arrival time. Bicycles are available for rent upon request. Two private parking spaces are also available at the property.

In short: Het Schildershuis is a wonderful base for a relaxing holiday, surrounded by nature and close to the sea, village and culture.
